Shalott

Nobody ever asks what's in it. Nobody ever wants to know. A step above grog, but still corrosive. Stronger than vodka, though not distilled. Sharper than whiskey, sweeter than the finest plum wine. All in all, probably magic, possibly alchemy.

So what is it, then? What would they find here if they asked? Certainly not the following, which we are led to believe are possible ingredients in grog:

  • kerosene
  • propylene glycol
  • artificial sweeteners
  • sulphuric acid
  • rum
  • acetone
  • red dye no. 2
  • scumm
  • axle grease
  • battery acid
  • pepperoni

No, this is something elks entirely.
